Hi! I am a new user. As suggested I will describe myself and my interests. I have been a ham for about eight years. I enjoy working various net both RF and echolink with a little IRLP thrown in. I am more or less retired from the medical field and have ample time to do what interests me. I am interested in most things, how they work or why they work. I am very practical and very frugal in my thinking.
I would like to hear what you are doing in HAM radio, your successes and failures.
As you might imagine, my Ham efforts are well supported computer wise. Genius I am not, but I use QRZ and
weather radar to learn something of QTH as I talk with you. Not much of a contest person, I like to be able to ask
questions or answer them.I like to learn, be patient if I ask a dumb question.
